S/S13 Balmain 5-Zip Military Field Jacket

From Olivier Rousteing’s Spring/Summer 2013 collection, this beautiful zip jacket is a perfect example of Rousteing continuing Christophe Decarnin’s military obsession at Balmain, reworking the classic field jacket into a lightweight washed cotton version.

It features a super unique textured surface with natural pilling all throughout, giving it that authentic vintage look that was super present during this era. Finished with classic shoulder epaulettes, dual cargo pockets, marble horn-style buttons, the iconic triple Lampo zipper setup, and zippers on both cuffs.

Just an insanely clean representation of early Rousteing Balmain.
As mentioned already, it has some natural pilling, which doesn’t affect the wear at all though.
